Round Here

My sisters new boots that she re-laced with a bright red string... damn her creative fashion background.

Today my sister and I went vintage shopping around Notting Hill in search of some ridiculous bits and pieces for the halloween costumes I'm working on. They're incredibly mundane, one is a cat costume and another a masquerade type deal but I figured I may as well make them as interesting as possible rather then rush off to buy some velvet and pleather get up from the local store (not that I have anything against velvet and pleather, they'll probably be incorporated to my ensemble). Halloween for me is always so much fun, until the night actually begins. It's the getting ready and planning that seems to be more enjoyable then the night out itself, but we'll see what London has in store--it'll certainly be a different experience than San Diego/Boston's halloween!
What about you, any exciting plans or costumes to share?

  3. i'd also love to know who makes that top - it's the perfect color and love the slouchy fit.

i always opt for predictability for halloween. originally i wanted to dress up as an oil-covered pelican, and my friend would go as a BP oil cleanup crew guy, but the pelican costume isn't coming along (i.e., nonexistent), so i might have to rethink that...
